ELIX Polymers presents new more sustainable E-LOOP products and materials will be injected at KraussMaffei stand
- ELIX Polymers: Hall B5 – Stand 5003
- KraussMaffei: Hall A7 – Stand 7303
ELIX Polymers is looking forward to showcasing its new sustainable E-LOOP products and services. Fakuma 2024 will be held in Friedrichshafen, southern Germany, from 15 to 19 October, and the specialty ABS global supplier will be located at Stand 5003 in Hall B5 to showcase its latest innovations. At the stand, new ABS and PC/ABS products with mechanically recycled content will be displayed. These products have properties equivalent to the traditional prime versions and CO2-emissions can be reduced.
KraussMaffei will inject ELIX Polymers E-LOOP products at their stand on an all-electric PXZ 121-380-180 Multinject using the sandwich process. The core material of the durable turtle consists of mechanically recycled PC/ABS E-LOOP 5120MR from ELIX Polymers. The visible, high-quality outer skin in blue is available with chemically recycled ABS E-LOOP P2H-AT CR, which can be supplied in various colors and percentage of circular and biobased feedstocks.
ELIX Polymers specific material parameters are integrated into the APCplus database from KraussMaffei and will be shown during Fakuma. APCplus (Adaptive Process Control) uses material-specific compression curves for process control. The machine function is precisely adjusted to the material being processed, making the injection molding process even more precise and efficient overall.
