We commit to collaborating with suppliers who meet sustainability criteria and respect human rights..
Our supply chain sustainability strategy centres mostly on the upstream part of the chain because we know that the raw materials we use for our business as well as transporting them, have environmental and social impacts that could be minimised through responsible purchasing. As far as impacts in the rest of the chain, these are already considered in other programmes of our strategy.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
ACTION PLANS:
SUSTAINABLE PURCHASING PROJECT
In 2021 we began to implement the Sustainable Purchasing project, which involves the introduction of sustainability criteria into the evaluation process for new suppliers. The project has four phases and will be progressively implemented up to 2024. In 2021 we completed the first phase, with the approval and publication of the Purchasing Code of Conduct.
This project helps us to promote a sustainable plastics economy, to work hard towards adapting to and mitigating the effects of climate change, and to help reduce the loss of biodiversity. At the same time, it ensures that our business model remains ethical and that we make a positive contribution to the well-being of people all throughout our value chain.

We contribute to the development of the local economy by assigning 55.87% of our expenditure to 346 suppliers in Catalonia, out of a total of 741.
