ELIX Polymers recognized at the 2022 Safety Awards with the Special Safety Award given by Feique

ELIX Polymers, a global ABS supplier, has been recognized at the 2022 Safety Awards with the Special Safety Award in recognition of its good safety performance during 2022.

The Spanish Chemical Industry Business Federation (Feique) has awarded, for the eleventh consecutive year, the Feique Safety Awards to twenty-nine Feique member companies, which have achieved a "zero accident" rate during the last year. These awards are recognition of the high level of excellence and dedication of chemical companies to the safety and health of their workers, which has an impact on the culture of prevention and the sector's commitment to continuous improvement in these areas.

The awards were presented by the director of the Department of Employment, Diversity and Social Protection of CEOE, Rosa Santos, together with the general director of Feique, Juan Antonio Labat in a ceremony that took place at the headquarters of the CEOE in Madrid. On behalf of ELIX Polymers, the award was collected by Antonio Diaz, HSE Manager and Fran Duran, Head of Operations of ELIX Polymers .

"The key is to work proactively in identifying the different hazards, anticipating risk management and implementing preventive measures," said Antonio Díaz. "Another very important aspect is the development of the cultural environment and the maturity in safety of the entire organization, and especially of each and every one of the people who collaborate directly or indirectly in ELIX," adds Antonio.

With this award, Feique recognizes the high level of safety performance achieved by ELIX Polymers in the last year, as a result of years of applying continuous improvement in Health and Safety, as well as the permanent and intense work carried out by the entire organization with the aim of achieving the highest safety standards in the company. This recognition, together with the recent ISO45001 certification, are two important milestones for the company in 2023 that reinforce its firm commitment to safety.
