ELIX PC/ABS E-LOOP 5120 MR and ELIX PC/ABS E-LOOP 5130 MR
In line with ELIX’s commitment to mitigate climate change and foster a sustainable plastics system with a clear focus on circularity and the efficient use of resources, new products are continuously being added to the E-LOOP portfolio based on mechanically recycled products.
Within the PC/ABS family, ELIX Polymers has developed two new mechanically recycled grades: E-LOOP 5120 MR and E-LOOP 5130 MR. High quality and safety of supply have been two of the main objectives during these developments.
E-LOOP 5120 MR and E-LOOP 5130 MR have equivalent properties to that of their virgin versions ELIX PC/ABS 5120 and ELIX PC/ABS 5130, with the benefit of replacing part of the fossil-based resources with circular resources, achieving a significant reduction of its carbon footprint.
Automotive interior parts (dark colours): Door components, instrument panel parts, seating parts, centre console trim.
Automotive exterior parts: Front grills, pillars, rear light housing, car antenna.
Coffee machines, kitchen aids.
Electrical switches, distribution boards, power sets.
The aim of our project is to offer top-of-the-line sustainable solutions in our markets, targeting in this case high demanding applications that require the use of PC/ABS grades.
