ELIX PC/ABS 5130 injected with ColorForm process at KraussMaffei booth during Chinaplas

Phone covers have been injected with “ELIX PC/ABS 5130” as basic carrier and flow-coated with polyurethane (PUR) during Chinaplas 2024. The adhesion of these two materials is very good, excellent surface quality can be achieved, the scratch resistance is good and also UV and chemical resistance. The ELIX PC/ABS 5130 have been produced in Yangzhou, China. Also, the sustainable E-LOOP product with mechanical recycled content “ELIX PC/ABS 5120MR” have been validated for ColorForm process. Both companies KraussMaffei and ELIX Polymers belong to Sinochem International and are increasing their cooperation and working together on different technical topics.
